English bridal wear designer Sassi Holford will be launching three new collections at the sixth edition of UK’s renowned
bridal trade show, White Gallery London, from 17 – 19 May 2015. Held at
Battersea Evolution in Battersea Park, London, the show features top British
and International bridal brands and is attended by buyers and press from all
over the globe.
Set to offer even more
dramatic flair, Sassi Holford’s 2016 collection showcases bold dress shapes and
refined fabrics with subtle accents of lace. For a touch of elegance,
cinched-in fishtails and ballgowns are finished with materials like matt silks
and duchesse satin. Classic designs with a contemporary edge are trademark
features of Sassi Holford, and the 2016 collection is no exception – the
creations exhibit a modern take on damask with a combination of soft silk
crepe, precision draping and fluid bias cuts.
So Sassi, the second bridal
collection, is conceptualised by a team of young designers for the modern-day
bride with a keen sense of style and individualism. Inspired by rising fashion
trends, it incorporates diverse and exciting elements such as cutaways, bodycon
silhouettes, modern laces and cuts that range from slim fit to tea-length. Each
piece retails from £1,100 to £1,900.
Last
but not least, the Couture Veil collection features Sassi’s own handcrafted
designs. The collection consists of four tulles that are matched with a wide
range of trims, from the classic elegant stitching to the intricate lace
detailing. Brides-to-be can have their veils specially tailored to their unique
tastes with the collection’s bespoke service.
